What GADIM Means
GADIM means “moving forward”, a name that reflects hope, progress, and the determination to build a dignified future. It represents our belief that refugees and displaced communities should not be defined by displacement or vulnerability, but by their rights, capabilities, aspirations, and potential to shape their own futures.
Our work transforms this vision into action through a pathway of Protection → Empowerment → Resilience → Self-Reliance → Sustainable Future.
A world where refugees, displaced persons, and vulnerable communities live with dignity, enjoy their rights, realize their full potential, and actively contribute to peaceful, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities.
To protect, empower, and advance the rights and well-being of refugees, displaced persons, and vulnerable host communities through community-led solutions, human rights advocacy, protection services, education, health and psychosocial support, peacebuilding, livelihoods, and socio-economic empowerment, while strengthening resilience, self-reliance, inclusion, and sustainable development.
